The title is the perfect explanation of where I've been this week. On Tuesday, I managed to come down with the flu for the 2nd time in 2 weeks. Yeah, that sucked. Especially since I was the only one who got it and it was much worse the 2nd time around. Oh, and day 2 of the flu was my birthday. Not exactly how I planned on spending my birthday. I'm nearly over it now, just have a scratchy throat, ear ache and a cough. These I can deal with.
The other thing that kept me away was the nook. Yes, the e-reader from Barnes and Noble. It was my birthday present from Dave. To say I'm a happy camper is an understatement. I LOVE IT! I've been practically attached to it since I got it on Saturday afternoon. The only reason I don't take it everywhere is because I don't have a cover yet (I'm getting one soon). I've been wrapped up in a couple different books.
I promise to get back on track this week, but I apologize for being MIA for the last week.
